Our In-Home Process: The Clinical Suite

We transform your kitchen table into a professional clinical testing environment, assessing your hearing in the actual space where you live and communicate every day.

Clinical Environment & Compliance

Accuracy starts with a quiet space. Before we begin, I use a professional Sound Level Meter to calibrate the room, ensuring your home environment meets strict clinical standards for accurate testing. We utilize specialized Foam Insert Earphones that block out background noise, guaranteeing a precise clinical evaluation right at your kitchen table. We don’t guess—we verify.

Video Otoscopy

We use a high-definition video camera so we can examine your ear canal anatomy together on the screen. This transparent process allows us to verify that the canal is clear of physical blockages like earwax, while allowing us to examine its unique physical shape to map out a perfect fit for latest-generation custom, invisible, or rechargeable hearing devices.

Comprehensive Assessment — A Complete Hearing Evaluation

We begin with pure-tone testing to establish your clinical baseline, but the real work happens with Speech Recognition Testing.

Most people can hear reasonably well in a completely silent room; the real challenge is understanding speech in daily life. We evaluate your ability to understand sentences in both quiet and simulated background noise—replicating the real-world environment of a busy restaurant, a family gathering, or a local social club. This allows us to determine your precise Speech Clarity Score and, more importantly, predict exactly how much benefit you will receive from modern technology before you ever invest.

Results & Live Simulation

Once the assessment is complete, we don’t just hand you a confusing graph. We sit down together to explain your results in plain, clear language.

Then comes the best part: the Live Simulation. I place latest-generation technology on your ears right then and there so you can experience the immediate difference in clarity. If the ideal non-custom device is in stock, we can often set up your trial on the spot—letting you experience the benefits in your home immediately.

Professional Fitting & Verification

Once you decide to move forward, we don’t leave anything to chance. If a custom order or specific technology tier is required, I’ll return to your home within the week to complete the delivery.

During the fitting, I perform Real-Ear Measurement (REM). This is the gold standard of clinical care. By using a medical-grade probe microphone inside your ear canal, I scientifically verify that the sound matches your precise prescription targets. We eliminate the guesswork to ensure you receive the exact clarity you need.

Hands-On Training & The 60-Day Trial

The fitting concludes by making you entirely confident with your new technology. We won't finish until you and your family are 100% comfortable with the essentials of daily life:

• The Essentials: Hands-on practice with your charger and maintaining your devices.
• Staying Connected: Seamlessly pairing your hearing aids to your smartphone or TV accessories.
• The Trial Begins: This marks the official start of your 60-day risk-free trial period.

You now have two full months to put this technology to the test in your actual daily routines—whether that's at a family dinner, at church, or out in the community. I am with you every step of the way to ensure your transition to better hearing is a complete success.
